Ruby Race Day

Post by Bob Bull »

A great day at Silverstone for the Ruby Race Meeting, a mass of Morgans, plus drivers, wives etc, and all sorts of odd people hanging about, some I recognised, others, Lord knows who they were. The fact is that everyone seemed to be having a good time, I have never kissed so many ladies in my life before (What is this power I have over the fair sex?). Most of the men were far too busy to bother me, thank goodness.

So to Mary, Mandy, Jeanette, Kate, Catherine, Tracy, Sue, Cathy, Katy, and Beverly, thank you all for feeling so sorry for an old man. :O:

I was genuinely hornswaggled by the surprise presentation of a nice piece of memorabilia, that I shall treasure forever, or until I get a decent offer on Ebay.

I was unable to watch much racing, but when you've seen one Challenge race, you've seen them all.

Thank you to all the drivers who signed the piece of wood, and if you did'nt [-X

Cheers,

Bob

Hi Bob

Good to see you looking well Saturday, albeit briefly. I hope you enjoyed the day. Sorry I didn't get to sign your 'piece of wood' but nobody asked me to so I did not know of its existence!
I was suitably shattered by the time I got home Saturday night and all of Sunday so I hope you have recovered from your exertions too.

Best wishes, Alan
