Hello, I'm looking for some wheel nuts in good condition for a 1991 +8 with Morgan alloy wheels.
I know there are new stainless steel ones available but the prices really make me wince !
So does anybody have some used ones to sell, either stainless or chromed left over from an upgrade ?
Please PM me.
Many Thanks
Andy

Andy,
Try SCP specialist car products 01293851777 STD 7/16 unf I paid £1 each in 2018 or Select Auto Supplies Coventry 02476465845
Product DN2B 7/16 dome nut. .65p each. One set was for the normal alloy mog wheel the other was for minilite wheels as different offset. I cannot remember which.. I think...... the DN2B were for the alloy wheels

Thanks Philip, I'll have a look at that, Ian Grimes at Track & Classic had suggested Select Auto Supplies.
I presume when you say "offset" you might mean "taper".
Many Thanks

Hi Andy
I note that Auto Supplies are Trade Only?
I managed to get some difficult to find nuts some years ago from www.speedshack.co.uk
They were most helpful

Hi Andy, have you tried Terry Foxen? He can get hold of/has most things Morgan.

Re: WANTED - 1991 +8 Wheel Nuts
Thanks for your suggestion Jim - and to all the other suggestions.
I have now sourced some stainless steel replacements at a very reasonable cost (under £3 + VAT each) from - Select Auto Supplies 024 7646 5845.
Note the website says Trade customers only, but I think they're grateful for any business at present.
https://www.selectautosupplies.com/
SCP Specialist Car Products were again helpful but they do not supply suitable nuts.
My wheel nuts are 7/16" UNF with a radius (round) end seating on the wheel. The part numbers quoted by Philip above are for tapered ends.Select Auto Supplies were very helpful and managed to find me the last 20 items of their old stock at the correct 35mm length. They do have stock of a longer (45mm) nut which stick out a bit further but look OK, I used them for my spare wheel mounting.
Hopefully this may help somebody else.
Andy

The new stainless steel nuts, Top 35mm Bottom 45mm

One of my better original chromed nuts showing rounded Radius shaped end

Both nuts fitted to spare wheel to illustrate the different lengths
