Had lunch yesterday with a chap who started his 4-4 coupe's standard special engine for the first time. He was surprised by the petrol over flow from the carb was was through the inlet manifold - exiting to the road through a hole in the bottom of the manifold! He thought of bunging the hole but then ......petrol would accumulate in the manifold.....and also the engine didn't run sweetly. Seems a bit of a fire risk to me.
Any thoughts anyone
cheers
