To make a new dipstick, I need to know the distance between the stop [where the dipstick sits on the block], and the high and low oil level marks.

Dipstick query
The dipstick for my 1122 cc Coventry Climax engine is missing. Engine is close to being ready to start, and I have no real idea what the oil level should be.
To make a new dipstick, I need to know the distance between the stop [where the dipstick sits on the block], and the high and low oil level marks.
Can someone please help ?
