Tony,
I have arranged to be at the Pom again armed with recording equipment and camera, so will be on the look-out for you (I feel it only fair to warn you).
What vehicle will you driving this year? Will it be as missable as the Viper was last time?
Of course all of this depends on me being in good health!
Bob

Hi Bob,
The Viper should be there; backup plan is to use the Merc 4x4.
Look forward to seeing you again.
Bring a warm coat!
Cheers, Tony

Tony,
Judging by the lack of replies I assume it is Me and Thee only on Saturday. Look for the man in the warm coat.

Bob

Re: VSCC Pomeroy Trophy Silverstone 28TH Feb 2009
There are 123 entries!
Don't worry Bob, when you get bored with watching the Viper there are some Morgans running:
93 Mark Gilbart-Smith +4
113 Chris Phillips +8
114 Paul Conway +8
And Mark Morgan in an AC ACE.
Anyone can come along to watch/help/get cold if they come with a VSCC Member as their "Guest".
Cheers, Tony

Hi John,
It's a very odd event...
Scrutineering includes checking to measure the car's "L" length (the distance from the brake pedal to back axle), to see if you have a working hood and room for two suitcases and a spare tyre!
Hope to see you there.
Cheers, Tony

Good luck to all the Pomeroyists. It is a great event and I only wish that I was there to compete - now that I think that I understand the rules....
Tony, if you are running the Viper, please remember to pack plenty of wadding and chewing gum so that you can plug the oil leaks
Cheers

Hi, John, Richard, et al,
Remember the Pom is not a public event, and it is members only, unless you have other credentials (team member, guest), you will need a pass to get in.
PM if help needed.
Bob.

Re: VSCC Pomeroy Trophy Silverstone 28TH Feb 2009
hah! I have spent a fortune on the beast attempting to stop the oil leaking and have even created an undertray with oil-absorbent stuff in it to catch the oil that does leak out. the oil is castrol B353 so it's in my best interests to keep it in the engine where it belongsTim Hill wrote:Good luck to all the Pomeroyists.
