you can't keep a good tractor driver down (apparently)...
where is he now? (or is that another thread)?
The Rev. I. R. Drotcart informs me that he is trialling a Citroen "Dolly" and applauds the efforts of his Morgan driving friends in their involvement with 2CV 24 hour racing.
Meanwhile, Snow White, irritated by the deviation from the story line, yawns theatrically from the wings. (That'll be steel wings because they are stronger than aluminium ones in the event of a shunt).
I assumed that each page was limited by number of lines i.e. vertical height, so with a bit of vertical typing and mindless singing repetition, page six was rather long. I thought that Mr Whiplash, the web editor, had extended the size of the pages as a practical joke, but now I see that it is limited by number of postings.
Bob had a good idea though, and it only takes a cut and paste and we can all join in (unless Mr Whiplash stops us):
All together now......
It's nine days to Christmas so will you send to me,

It's nine days to Christmas so will you send to me,
One Bellinger blundering, two Acklam interventions, three Morris murmurs, four Falce photos, five lines from Lees.

Phillip,
The song called for Seven Goddard rambles, you only gave us three! Please make up the deficit before the bailiffs call round and confiscate 'Grumpy' or other worldly goods.
Mr Lees also failed to live up to his commitment of 'Five lines'. A gross dereliction of duty.
Well done Jack for your single 'blunder'. Good to see!
One Bellinger blundering, two Acklam interventions, three Morris murmurs, four Falce photos, five lines from Lees.
Six Knightly blessings, seven Goddard ramblings, eight Mary moments, nine rhyming verses, ten major postings,
and a picture of Sebba Leigh.
So, let us be logical about this:
One Bellinger blunder = 8 Mary moments
1 picture of Leigh = 8 Mary moments
But, given that a picture = 1000 words,
therefore one Bellinger blunder results in 8000 Mary words.
Jack,
Thanks for the tip, the pictures really had me fooled, as someone once told me Leigh Sebba 'was yellow', so I took them at 'face value' so to speak.
Clearly I mistook the person's meaning.
Maybe it was just a ploy to avoid having to actually make a useful contribution to the Gold as Green Hippodrome Production of our Pantomime, and help us achieve the Holy grail of ten pages, demanded by Andy Man!
By the way 'Snow White' could easily be one of Colombia's finest exports (snort of disapproval) so she may not be as pure as the driven ......? Well 'Snow' I suppose.
To continue; Snow White leant casually on the lamp post, when a passing sailor asked if she had the time? She replied she had, but who would guard her Plus 8 while she was gone?
