Re: 2008 PANTO SNOW WHITE
The back end of the Bull (who else?), or was it the front end?
The Bull had never been to sea so he collected some honey and some money and intended searching for a year and a day for the Bong-tree. Which was a bit of a shame cause he would have missed Christmas.

You could have helped by making your posting longer than that or maybe using very large letters....
Come to think of it, we haven't heard from Andy Green lately - he started it after all [-X

Re: 2008 PANTO SNOW WHITE
Mary,
No word from the Promoter recently? That got me thinking, and I remembered that in order to stimulate interest in the Loose Torque section I offered a CD of my highly prized Morgan pictures to the contributor whose subject aroused the most interest.
I suspect that the cunning AndyG launched his Panto, with the challenge of reaching ten pages, in order to win the prize, and for that reason alone!!
He is a clear leader at this stage of the competition and it is difficult to see anyone else surpassing his efforts before the end of the year.
You know him better than I do, do you think my surmise is correct? Do I credit it him with too much intelligence? Is my CD already, virtually in his grasp?
I have had occasion to remark on Mr Green's talents before on this forum, I suspect that he has once again stolen a march on other would-be CD collectors.
You have to hand it to him - it was a brilliant stratagem.
Just a thought,
Bob.
PS; Anyone going to the Race of Champions at Wembley this weekend?

Re: 2008 PANTO SNOW WHITE
I am not sure that this is strictly true since you seem to see far more of him than I do especially as you prefer racing drivers with motor homes. I cannot claim to be in this highly sophisticated group (boasting only an ancient and battered camping trailer for spares and tools) and so I suspect that you know Andy better than I......You know him better than I do
I am sure that as one of the "Morgan Gentlemen" he would not stoop to such depths simply to win the much vaunted prize.
Meanwhile back at the panto - the seven dwarves were busy counting their pennies to see if they could afford to buy a used Honda.....

Re: 2008 PANTO SNOW WHITE
page filler (stolen from elsewhere).
Santa's Check Ride
Santa Claus, like all pilots, gets regular visits from the Federal Aviation Administration,
and the FAA examiner arrived last week for the pre-Christmas check ride.
In preparation, Santa had the elves wash the sled and bathe all the reindeer.
Santa got his logbook out and made sure all his paperwork was in order.
He knew they would examine all his equipment and truly put Santa's flying skills to the test.
The examiner walked slowly around the sled. He checked the reindeer harnesses,
the landing gear, and even Rudolph's nose. He painstakingly reviewed Santa's weight and balance
calculations for sled's enormous payload.
Finally, they were ready for the check ride. Santa got in and fastened his
seat belt and shoulder harness and checked the compass. Then the examiner
hopped in carrying, to Santa's surprise, a shotgun.
"What's that for!?" asked Santa incredulously. The examiner winked and
said, "I'm not supposed to tell you this ahead of time," as he leaned over
to whisper in Santa's ear, "but you're gonna lose an engine on takeoff."

Cheers, Tony

Re: 2008 PANTO SNOW WHITE
Tony, that doesn't happen in real pantos and you must try to keep this adult content out of our harmless, childish fun.
If you're not careful Phil will revert to his unsavoury offerings from the world of veterinary science and beyond......
Here is my favourite Santa, although I suspect he would have some problems with scrutineering.

I suspect the creative juices may be exhausted but we still have 5 pages to go !
So just to get things started (again)
