Re: Where are they now?
I think the middle one is Roger Comber, the one with the camera Chris Rowe ??
And although not in the picture I think "Barry's friend" would be John Timms.

2nd guy on the fence looks like John Timms - Barry Sumner's demon tyre inflator!
Re: Where are they now?
I can't understand why, with all of the interest in odd people sitting on a wall, no one has asked whose Morgan can just be glimpsed behind Arthur Neal's car.
Get to it chaps etc..

That's a tough one Bob, the photograph seems to have disappeared!

Mary,
Don't blame me, however, I know that some Smarty Pants will have the answer regardless.

Re: Where are they now?
It seems to have miraculously reappeared.
I would hazard a guess that it might be Roger Comber or George Proudfoot.

Re: Where are they now?
I’m off to Aple d’Huez in France in Jan, where one of the local ski teachers is Stuart Adamson – ex Mog racer (with his ex wife Kate in a Noddy 4/4 as I recall). I seem to recall they used to drive both cars down from Aviemore to race. If anyone has any fond or less fond memories I can reminisce with him – please let me know (perhaps off line if they are less fond !)

Re: Where are they now?
Hi Leigh,
We have been skiing in Alpe d'Huez for several years now - we love it! Stuart taught my wife and son to ski!
Send him our best regards and tell him we hope to see him again this year - it won't be January though which is a shame as it would have been good to have been out there at the same time as you.
The engine in my Black Plus 4 was Stuarts road-going engine which he took out when he had a race spec engine built for his Plus 4. His old car is now owned and raced by Mark Hoble!
It's a wonderfully small world in the Morgan world!
Cheers

I have very fond memories of racing with Stuart and Kate Adamson in c1987/88. This was before air-bags and HANS devices had been invented. Stuart's safety mods mainly involved a piece of foam taped over the rather hard and sharp steering wheel nut on his +4. I remember taking the conventional line through the Club corner chicane at Thruxton and Stuart, ever the mogul skier, launching himself over the kerb about three feet into the air and landed right beside me. Gave me quite a shock. Give them my kind regards.
