Hi,all,
A short note to update anyone who cares. I am currently. in a rehab unit. following an emergency
trip to Bedford Hospital with a blood. disorder, very dodgy apparently. It was
due to taking the wrong blood pressure pill for too long.I may well be able to. make a few meetings next
year. Nice to receive telephone calls from Peter Cole, Jack, and Mary, thanks chaps it truly made a big boost to morale
when rather fed up. Cheers,

Bob

Just got back from a short holiday and seen your post Bob.

Sorry to hear you have been unwell but you imply that with the change to the correct tablets you may be able to be out at a few more meetings next year...and that is good news!

Take care and look after yourself!

Cheers,

Mark

Hope to see you at the BDC again! :O:

Hi! Friends,
Discharged yesterday, and now back at home, feeling better than I have for a long time, my BP control medication has been changed, making a tremendous difference to my well being. I am no longer slowly poisoning my self, thank God.
I did worry a little about how I would cope on my own, and there was a lot of talk about, 'care packages', but I can cope with ease all the household chores quite well.
All bodes well for a return to getting to a few meetings next season, and hopefully another boozy lunch in January. [-X

Thank you for your kind messages, they have helped my morale during the darker days.

PS; When I was leaving the Rehab Unit many of the nursing staff, (ladies) made a special effort to say good bye, and wish me well, saying I was the best patient they had ever had!!
At 88 I've still got, IT.

Cheers, Bob.
