Plus 4 competition parts for sale

Garage clear out of Plus 4 competition parts that are surplus to requirements after recommissioning my Plus 4 race car and due to losing garage space at the end of October.

I haven't put any prices on them as the replacement costs are so ridiculously high (how about £5200.00 incl. VAT for a new steel crank?!) that I am open to all and any offers on everything.

Alloy fuel tank (foam filled). It is made 1/3rd to 2/3rds sprint and long distance with two clear plastic sight tubes and screw cap filler. Will replace a standard Morgan Plus 4 fuel tank.

Four in to one big bore (2" diameter) stainless steel Super Sports tubular exhaust manifold. This was supplied by Racetorations and has a single primary pipe. This means it will exit through the standard size exhaust hole in the side of the chassis. (The later Supersports manifold requires a bigger hole to allow a twin pipe exit through the chassis.) You can see a later version on the Racetorations website - and an eye watering price...!)

'Cherry Bomb' exhaust pipe and silencer to match above.

Steel Crankshaft. Has recently been crack tested and x-rayed by Classic and Modern Engines (in April this year) and micropolished. Has got a label attached with their specifications. See the replacement cost above!

Safety Devices Aleybar. This roll bar was fitted in September 1992 and is now not FIA compliant as the diagonal is bolted not welded. Would be fine for a road car of course.

Finally a 'long' tool box (36" wide at its widest point) so full width of the bulkhead.

Is your Aleybars Plus 4 rear roll bar with a removable diagonal still for sale please? What year car was it fitted to?

Sorry, it went yesterday - as did the exhaust manifold.

But do have the harness bar from the 1959 Plus 4 if of any interest...
