I Just happened to visit a shop in Christchurch (fazazz), New Zealand the other day and came across a Plus 8 Lightweight for sale. Car is Black with Tan interior. Very original and not mucked about. Am heading back home via Christchurch on 13th Jan, so If anyone wants more details - drop me a message. Price was around 90,000 NZ$ - about 38K UK pounds.......

Second Hand Plus 8
Hi Tim,
Interesting, but sounds expensive! And that's before you factor in shipping charges and duty.
If anyone is looking for a late 70's Plus 8 there's one on the Gomog website for $20,000. Would make a great Sprint/Hillclimb/Race car - only thing is it needs a new ash frame due to termite damage!!!
Cheers,
Mark

Just heard from Fazzaz
1975 MORGAN +8 “Lightweight”. A rare limited edition car, one of only 19 built and 12 known survivors. This car is immaculate in black with tan leather trim and has covered only 52,000 miles. Excellent buying at $69,995 **SORRY SOLD****
That is £24,500 - anyone owning up to buying it?
Cheers

Lost Plus 8
Hi Philip,
Sorry for not replying earlier but have literally just got back from skiing - nearly snowed in!
I have looked again for this 1978 Plus 8 but it seems to have disappeared. It might be worth requesting info on the Gomog website if you are interested.
If I come up with anything in the meantime I will of course let you know.
Cheers,
Mark
