I am sad to report that that Murray passed away earlier today. He had been diagnosed with an untreatable cancer in January.
Murray was a true one-off, an eccentric and great Morgan enthusiast. He will be well remembered for his lime green Morgan Plus 4 that he trialled and used on the road with immense commitment and enthusiasm.

They didn't have a mould to break when they made Murray Montgommery Smith - because he'd been carved into a unique one-off.
Although we'll not see his like again here are two photos of him that say it all.

Bob Northover tells me that the funeral is Monday Apr 8th At St. Mary the Virgin Church Silchester at noon. Hot lunch to follow, venue unconfirmed.
