Gizzard 1972 Moss Box Plus 8 one of the last few 459
was owned, Sprinted and Trialed by Terry Howes and his Daughter Kate in the 80s
was named Affectionaly...Gizzard Puke by Terry and Kate because of her Greeny like Yellowy Colour ( made you want to puke)
Terry Had her Resprayed Silver and took out the Moss Gearbox (took all the gears off of the Lay Cluster whilst Trialing)and fitted a Rover 4 speed as well as MANY other Telly Hovis Accessory type Mods (the Battery sits on a Baking tray)

We hope to build her Back with the Original Moss Box ( we hope Terry would approve) and maybe try to get a few more Horses out of her

Terry was quite a Character with a good sense of Humour
About 6 months after we Bought the car I pulled the cente cap off of the steerng Wheel ..to be greeted by HELLO JACK >>HELLO SALLY hand written ..
still makes me smile Today
Hopefully we can do him justice when she next goes on the Track

Just remembered .. its has fitted the rollover bar that was in Mary,s car when it rolled in the Willhire.
it will fail scrutineering ( not got the right sticker) .... Truth is... its one of just a few Bars that has actally proved that it works (3 times over)
Yet , wont pass scruting (health and saftey !**%" s*&*")
