The Autosport web site has an interesting computer visualisation of the new lay out showing a car lapping from outside as on TV and an in cockpit view, that might give some bright sparks a head start on the opposition early in the season.

No doubt Mr Chris will put up a direct link very soon, as I still do not grasp the technology.

Jack,
It takes the trained eye of an experienced observer to notice that the driver does not change gear atall! His hands never leave the steering wheel and his thumbs remain fixed, so no paddle shift.

I see that a number of people have expressed enthusiasam but wait 'til they get out in a Morgan, then it won't be so easy. You stick with the Moss box.

Another question that arises regards the 24 Hour Race. Will the revised layout suit the 2CV or the Bumble Bee best?
I think we have a lot to look forward to this season.

On March 22nd Porsche are holding a media day at Snetterton for the Porsche Carrera Cup contestants, and I have been invited to attend, however, it is a long way for an elderly scribe to drive, so if someone wanted to get a sneak preview of the new layout that is being used, and would pass through Luton ......!!

Lovely Mr Bull,

we have a gaggle of morganeers heading to snetterton for the annual "blow out the cobwebs day" on the 17th march, and they are excited as they are getting to practice on the new 300 circuit.

small pleasures.....
