Welcome Morgan Series 1 Owners
Morgan Series 1 sports cars have not had a dedicated forum before - now they have!
I hope this site will allow owners and enthusiasts to exchange ideas on how to get the best out of these brilliant little cars and to share historic and current stories.
Brakehosepower.net was set up to bring the Morgan racing community together which it has achieved brilliantly. This section is open to all Series 1 owners - not just the racers. Comments are very welcome from owners of Climax and Standard Special engined cars.
Please note, that everyone can read posts on this site, but you must register to post a comment.
Best wishes and a happy New Year

Tony ~ great to see a real Mog being used, how many modern tin boxes did you leave stuck in the snow?
Peter ~ the other ploy is simply to buy your Wif a “new” car and then borrow it to go racing, trialing, rallying etc.

It was when we stormed up a steep and very snowy hill past a line of 4x4's out "green lane-ing" that we knew we had the right tool for the jobBarry Sumner wrote:Tony ~ great to see a real Mog being used, how many modern tin boxes did you leave stuck in the snow?

Hello everyone,

Re: Welcome Morgan Series 1 Owners
That broken half-shaft was at Silverstone during practice for the Birkett 6 Hour (1976 I think) it was my first ever race meeting - I had met Mary just a week before, little did I know what was to follow in subsequent years...
Hence my continued involvement in the 6 Hour, and the origin of my signature 'Skipper' for which Kelvin Laidlaw deserves the credit
Have Fun
