alloy bumpers WANTED

Anyone got any alloy bumpers lying around getting dusty? And that they would like to sell?

Sid Watson has some grp ones, advertises in Miscellany. He bought Dave Rutherford's moulds.

Richard, good to hear from you. And thanks for the help. Just not sure how GRP would fare in a contest against any of the haybales/ armco that are supposed to keep us tidy going up the hill.

For a start, they are cheaper than alloy, but as far as winning against bales, cones and armco, it shouldn't be too long before I find out! bear in mind that most cars these days have huge plastic wrap-round bumpers, then grp might be a half-decent option, just that they are not as shiny! Body-styling-colour-matched might be a better term!

I did read somewhere, I think, that you can now get powder coating done in chrome? – Its worth investigating

I have a front bumper spare (and wish I had it on when I collected a cone at Colerne!)
