I'm looking for a classic morgan

Post by malcolm rogan »

returning to the four wheeler fold after 15 years away I'm looking for late 60s early 70s car - model is relatively less important than condition history and interest. I've been looking for several months and it seems few such cars change hands these days and if they do seem are snapped by dealers/exporters. If anyone knows of a potentially suitable car for sale or even a sleeper that might be I'd welcome an email or phone call 07836252634. Money waiting

Andy

thanks for this which is an illustration of the problem - this car appeared on http://www.mikeabbasclassiccars.co.uk on the monday morning that miscellany came out on the prior saturday! and was 'sold in the trade' by lunchtime! I think that means its sold abroad although it still appears on the abbass website. It also makes me wonder how secure the Miscellany advertising system is. It looked a nice car at good price.

My ad in the september Miscellany will say 'dont sell your car to a dealer or abroad sell it to me' which will hopefully attract some attention if nothing else

Have you tried Roger Davies at Harpers. He often knows of '60s Morgans coming up for sale. Worth giving him a ring.

Hi Malcolm,

I have been offered a 1955 twin spare car (cowled rad, bustle back rear end and twin spare).

The car is RHD and is in California.

or is that too old? if you are interested please leave your email address and i will send the info and pictures. I am not involved whatsoever, but a friend in California pointed the car out to me for someone inetrested here.

Best regards, Jochem
