Re: British F1 Grand Prix 2025 - grandstand ticket & car pass

No sensible offer refused... £500 anyone?
Would cost £829 if you could still buy from Silverstone...
Have switched to selling via Twickets but they add £70 to my selling price.

As you will all know, Woodcote A looks down Wellington Straight from Woodcote so you see cars coming...

Re: Advent

Seasons greetings to you as well Peter, whatever the date is! :) And, likewise, to all those in the Morgan racing fraternity: all best wishes for Christmas and for great racing and full grids in 2025! :D Hopefully I will catch up with many of my racing friends again when I make my annual pilgrimage ...

Congratulation Andrew! =D>

Re: BDC 24

Hi Bob. Sad to hear you may not be venturing out for the BDC. Always enjoy catching up with you.
Take care and hopefully you will recover sufficiently to get to another round soon. Or BDC 2025!
Electric buggy sounded like a great idea...

Re: Jerry Knight

Very sorry to hear the news of Jerry's passing. Such a wonderful, friendly and generous character. Will always remember him darting round the paddock on that mini-cycle of his, smile on face.

Re: Retirement

Sorry to hear you are hanging up your helmet Alan. I really enjoyed racing with you and often sharing a garage! And watching you from the other side of the Armco in more recent years. Will always remember Dominic and yourself so kindly getting me home from Oulton after my prang... Hope to see you in...

Re: TOK and XRX1

Post Brexit I have ordered books a number of times, even a Le Mans polo shirt, from the EU and never been asked for tax payments... am I lucky or are EU to UK not charged only the other way round? :-k

HSCC Croft - tickets?

Any chance that anyone has one or (even better) two tickets to spare for HSCC Croft on 2/3 September? [-o<
In return I can supply action shots of your car in action! Not up to Bob's standard obviously!
There are normally Morgan racers at HSCC events so keeping fingers crossed...

Re: I'm Sure I Know That Face.

Yes, a truly tragic event Bob. Have you Chris Nixon's fabulous "Mon Ami Mate" tome? That devotes many insightful pages to the event and its aftermarth. Worth tracking down a copy if you don't have one already, especially as you were a Hawthorn fan... The journalist was lucky he found you. ...

Morgan sales brochures etc at Bonhams

Thought this would be of interest. A Bonhams on line auction... "Morgan - assorted sales brochures, catalogues and ephemera, 1939 and 1966-2019 including 'The World's leading 3 wheelers' full range brochure, (tears and old taped repairs along all folds); 'Competitive' with 1966-67 price list; 1...
