Master Cylinder

There seems to be a shortage of brake master cylinders to fit mid 80's Plus Eights.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to help locate either a new or reconditioned one?
The car is my 1987 ( April ) Plus 8 injection, chassis number: R9824.
Thanks,
Tim.
Not slowing down in Fiddleford!

Tim,
try J.E.M. Vintage & Classic Car Consultants. They specalise in brake bits 01455230626 . I have got rebuild kits from them in the past. They are in Hinkley but they will need to know the make and model of master cylinder
Failing them you could someone like Melvyn Rutter, he is bound to have one at a cost!!

Hi Tim
I have managed to get master cylinders in the past from FPS (Ferraris Piston Services) I think they are a National Outfit - usually supply the trade and car accessory shops. You will need the Girling part number though - and take the old one with you just in case.....

Thanks Tim / Jack,
I'll follow up your suggestions as soon as I'm absolutely sure that it is the master cylinder that is giving the problem.
Good luck to both of you if you're competing over Easter.
Best regards
Tim
p.s. Jack, Andy Garlick also recommended you!

Demon Tweeks might be able to help if Jack can't.
