Curborough 1980

I have just finished going through my father's Morgan stuff. As well as learning that the previous owner of his first Mog was Graham Bryant, I also came across the "Morgan Year book 1980-1981". It includes photos and results for the Club Sprint of 1980 at Curborough:
Fastest Morgan ( and Alan Smith Trophy) Peter Garland Plus 8, 36.84s
Peter Bond 4/4 with a BDA engine 40.08 s
Gordon Foster in above car 41.81s
Chas Smith 4/4 44.02
Richard Barnes (plastic bodied 4/4 with BDA engine) 36.30 s (not eligible as Morgan hence not fastest Morgan)
Simon Newbould in Joan Meredith's Plus 8 39.62s
Ray Meredith in Andrew Duncan's Plus 8 39.20s
Mike Hall , Plus 8 37.17
Mike Duncan (24 hour team car Plus 8) 39.00
Martin Wyatt 4/4 , 40.39
Nigel Garland 41.10, Plus 8
Brian Povey (extra wide bodied Plus 8) 38.98
(I assume these are single laps fellow Speedmoggers, or we are all driving too slowly!!)
