Who would like to drive Donington Park on a track day in March? I am thinking of a mid week day - the price does not include instructors, but is in the region of £140 per day.

Me too please, if it's before the 24th.
Any idea of the dBA limit? I know Donington are picky.
Cheers Tony

I am hoping we can use the National Circuit at 110dB.
Will keep you posted.

Hi Have spoken to Donington Park today. No dates yet released for March (race calendar still being confirmed) but there are 2 options for us:
1) a noisy track day £145 full day, unsilenced, in sessions, with sessions split for levels of experience- we may get discount on this
2) an unsilenced test day, £175 half day, competition licence holders on (sprint or race) - again we may get a discount. Track is available all day- ie you do not have to wait for a session.
there are sessions towards the end of February also. Note both options are mid - week.
let me know what you think.
Both days instructors available with proper debrief for £35.

option 1 sounds more in my kind of budget

Option 2, although more expensive, does mean that the standard of driving (except mine of course) is higher as it's restricted to licence holders. John, are you sure they're offering instructors at a test day?
Cheers, Tony

We may do better in February. There is a noisy test day on Thursday the 19th of February, £175 for the half day.We can do Am or PM. Personally I would like to do this option as it is open track so although more expensive than a track day we will get more track time. If we go into March the price goes up to £269 for the half day which is too pricy.
This is the National circuit.
( NB you will need a competition licence if that is not stating the obvious!)
let me know you thoughts.

Wish I wasn't - it'd be good to have someone in the car who knew where they were going.
Suspect lower feb price reflects lack of cars ready to rock and roll that early in the season - sadly I think mine won't be ready by then but please keep me down as a "probable".
Cheers, Tony

Are you sure Non Race B licences are OK... I was under impression you need a Full Race Licence for test days (not sure where from though)
