Birkett

Tragedy! No Morgan teams entered in the Birkett. Not only sad, but where the heck am I going to feed during the long Autumn hours?
How many years since the Malvern Marque was not represented on the grid, and are there any individual Mogs running?
Sad Snapper.

Hi Bob, where did you find the entry list?

I got the list from the Club web site, however, they now have an updated version which shows Morgans for Fun, Hopefully this will solve the feeding problem.

Bob, I am told that the list you have seen is from the 2013 event....
I suggest you get some sandwiches in!

Bob- see you there!
John, I think you might have a wasted journey unless you are in one of the 2016 teams....

Bob, some of us just go for the smell of petrol, not just the sandwiches!

That's a long way to go just to sniff some petrol, why not open the petrol tank on the Mog and sniff that?

List of teams, sans Moggies.
Come. come Mary, surely no Morgan should be sniffed at?
John, please bring extra sandwiches, cheese, corn beef, egg & tomato, ham, BLT only one of each should be enough. Oh! And tea, no sugar.
Bob.

"Bob , I am racing at Brands this weekend"
Well I look forward to reading your report Jerry, on the scoff of course.
Do tell Jan that I NEVER criticised her coffee, it was only your deliberate misinterpretation of my remark that has led to a dangerous (for me) situation.
I hope to hear all about your splendid victory on BHP.
Bob.

Bob, I can't speak for the rest but unfortunately there will be no 'Morgans For Fun' at the Birlkett this year. I was hoping to pop up anyway and have a look at the competition and meet the ever-keen John Bevan but I'm otherwise engaged
Kate and Simon Orebi Gann started MFF in the year 2000 and asked me to come out of retirement to manage it - we've been at it ever since and this would have been our 18th Race (there were 2 races in 2000, one a 12-Hour Relay).
Before 2000 I had not managed for some years, but there had been Morgan Teams from (at least) 1976 to the mid-1990s (I know because I was involved in them as a helper or manager). Not sure if there were any Teams in the few years prior to 2000 - the +4 Brown Trousers, sorry Wrong Trousers perhaps ?
So, no scoff I'm afraid, and no 'Man in the White Suit' either
Let us know what happens.
Andy
