Iris said there were some Bentleys (?) racing but never saw it. Would have watched if I had known you were in it Tony !

If anyone saw The Sex Change Spitfire Ace a couple of weeks ago that had period shots of Shelsley Walsh

To add to Bob’s posting - No surprise at all that in the re make of the film 'Blow Up' the part based on David Bailey, that fashion photographer of the 'Swinging Sixties' is of course to be played by a certain Mr Bob Bull

When I clicked on your link, I found myself watching a TV soap. have I got it wrong? Surely there must be some mistake!

Puzzled of Luton.

I wonder who will be the first to suggest a 'role' for Mary?

Surely only a member of the SAS would 'dare'!

Leigh.

David Bailey, was he debonair, sophisticated, urbane, mannered, cultured, and exquisitely charming? If he was (is) then maybe ............................?

Then, of course, there is always a part in 'Roman Holiday' that might be more suitable for an aged photographer.

NB; No reaction for any of the names mentioned in the article so far. What may we read into that?

Scoop.

As soon as I saw the opening scene I turned it off, how much do I have to watch to spot a Vauxhall? Please tell me it quite early in the proceedings.

Worried of Luton.

Well, Vauxhall actually started in Vauxhall but they moved to Luton.
If you start at about 20 minutes in you might be able to grin n bear it.
How on earth that soap got a worldwide audience of 280 million will never cease to amaze me.

And MG Morris Garage! You know I am old enough to remember these things Tony!

Thanks for the advice, I FF to the racing sequence, and found it jolly exciting. Was that the actual Tony Lees driving the Vauxhall?

Impressed of Luton.
