Greg, is a relatively new addition to the membership of BHP and resides in Australia (well someone has to), and is a fine engineer, he told me so, and is currently restoring some kind of old Mog, what sort I have no idea. He is also the proud owner of this fine motor car;
A 1924 Minerva MB, and Greg is only the third owner from new.
Unfortunately I have just been advised that I have to go shopping, so I will post the Morgan pictures a little later.
Until then ....
Bob.

Minerva engine. Greg on floor.
Bearing gone.
Morgan?
I post these pictures as a service to Morgan aficionados everywhere, and have no idea what they show, and I care even less, but I am quite certain that;
a) Greg is doing a fine job.
b) Mark shears will be eagerly poring over them seeking enlightenment.
R F Bull.

Hi Bob,
Photos: Well done! Yes, he is doing a nice job. I hope he can make the doors in a way that they fit perfect (for a long time).
Machiel.

Thank you for posting the photos Bob, although the Minerva ones were only to show you why the Morgan had been 'pushed aside' for a while. Just for the record, I am the bloke holding the engine steady [with great skill]....Bill Sides [Minerva 'guru'] the one on the floor, with torch, inspecting the 'rattly bits'. In about 2 weeks time, the Minerva will have been fully road-registered for 90 years. Still has original number plates -39988.
Promise to get back to the Morgan [1938 4-4 D/H coupe] ASAP.

Love the Minerva!
But I think Simon King will be even more interested in the restoration of the Morgan series 1 DHC than me...
He has a vested interest!
Seasons greetings to all.
Cheers
Mark

Yes, thank you Mark. I would be delighted to see FYL 631 at the same point of restoration! Still, great to see the photos and another DHC making the journey back to being roadworthy again

Just look at those lovely wheels Simon - and all you other Series 1 owners who covet Easi-Clean wheels...!
A Happy Christmas to you all - on both sides of the World!
Cheers

Forecast for the next week or so 'round our way is for temperatures around 30 degrees....that's 'C' not 'F'.
