I am sad to report that Bob Cook, a well known Ginetta and vintage Riley racer, has died aged 85.
We have known Bob since the 1970s when we all used to race at Snetterton club meetings. He co-drove our Morgan Plus 8 in the 1984 Willhire 24 hour race and his enduring comment when he got out after a test drive was : "It's a bit busy in there isn't it!" He was a lovely man and a very quick racer.
There is to be a memorial service at St. Peter's Church in Castle Hedingham, Essex on Thursday 27th November at 11am.
