I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure! The truth is I haven't decided! I did explore the possibility of preparing the car for Class R but although this adds cost, I don't believe it would add value, unlike my Class D Plus 8. If we can mention that awful word, "money", then a lot of cash would be tied up in one car. Once the car is sold, then I will look around and see what is available, either potentially Classes R, D and E. Either already Race prepared or standard. Those in Classes A,B and C are safe! Thanks for your comments!

Andrew I believe your Class D Plus 8 is available for sale - you could always buy it back....!

Alternatively - we are currently preparing a Class E car for next year - 1998 4/4 1800cc - it would be nice to have someone to play with.....

Leigh - I did say "in my estimation" - you are or course at liberty to support your new alliance but I think you are misguided [-X

Jack - you have a way with words....

Well the replies have not exactly been coming in thick and fast! There are one or two others on
the market at the moment at slightly lower price. I am open to sensible offers. Most dealers will sell on a commission basis,
so I would be happy around £48,000.

I"ve now got the car for sale on Piston Heads. Nearly swapped it for a Series 1 E type coupe but decided not to go ahead.
Price now reflecting current market, so dropped to £46,000. Do not think I can go any lower!!
Hope everyone is well.

Just think, you could still have your lovely Class D Plus 8 and all the fun that goes with the Class D gang.

Andrew, you may get an off season deal on converting your P4SS to racing spec. There's not much to be done and they do make great little race cars. Mine finished every race this year and only needed brake shoes and pads and oil changes, and at the end of the season we toured France, Belgium and Germany with no issues. P4SS's also offer an easy route to Class B, a full race Duratec engine and some rear discs and you're on the grid (i.e. a Baby Doll conversion) add a supercharger and you're in Class A!

Mary, you may well be right - hindsight is a wonderful state to be in!
Phil, I have explored that route but I am concerned about the total capital outlay! My Bank Manager, to name one, will not be amused ! You never know, Santa may
bring me a winning Lotto ticket!
