Well, am assuming you mean the chap in the middle of the photo.....

If so, it's clearly Rolf Harris........"Can you guess who it is yet"?

If you say not, then there is only one other charming bearded chap I can possibLeigh think of.

All I can see is Arfer Crank-Case superimposed on a lump of metal and a bunch of athletes!

What on earth is that all about?

Puzzled of Luton.

Leigh,
I am glad I am not the only one having problems with Mr Lees' post. I assume that Tony is not computer literate. I wonder what he does for a living?

Baffled of Bedfordshire.

You need Flash, Bob... (not that that is in any way a comment or criticism of your public appearance ... heaven forfend.)

It is in fact a worrying photograph showing that anti-establishment characters are now everywhere.

Yes, indeed Chris! You have been missed, and not only for your uncanny ability to interpret Tony's posts.

I can now see that initial itteration of the posting, which I assume to be the aforementioned 'Rubber Freaks', had been overlaid with a picture of the lower half, of what I take to be a crankcase!

The 'crank' connection I can grasp easily enough, so I suppose 'case' might also be relevant to the chap depicted!

My facial recognition software tells me that it is not the Honourable Mr Lees himself, or indeed most other contributors to this site, so I have to concur with Katy, that it is certainleigh, Tamsin's father.

Is it goodbye or au revoir, these days, or even hasta manyana?

Kind regards,

Bob.

I have to admit that as there was no Morgan race this weekend we had an alternative race (?) at a lake near Ipswich where competitors included a Mr and Mrs Sebba and Mrs and Master Lees. Mr Lees was the Lees team manager and photographer.

Of perhaps more interest was that canoe safety support was provided by another ex Morgan racer known as Mogman a k a Andy Garlick who was the original racing owner of the yellow peril +4 now owned by Tim Hill.

The subject is now closed I hope, although perhaps if we have a race at Mallory sometime we could enjoy a lunchtime interlude in the lake there.

None, or all, of the above. A surfeit of work and sun has kept me away from participating in your banter the last few months, but now work has diminished I should have a bit more time. Especially when it's just too hot, and the surf's too big, for pale-skinned anglo saxon wimps.

I can see though that I'll have to get into training to keep up with the Lees Sebba equipes.
