The entry forms are out for this years Birkett race in october.
It's on the GP circuit this year so there will be 70 teams. Plenty of spaces left according to 750MC.
I've got entry forms if anyone is interested and feels like putting a team together.

Katy's timely reminder of the Birkett reminds me that while the Team Managers appear to be able to advise their drivers which colour car is theirs, and count the number of laps they achieve in the alloted time, the one thing all teams lack is an effective Media person. Someone who can issue Press Release's, contact influential figures within the sport, gain invaluable publicity for the team, and to raise the profile of the endeavour in the public conciousness.
Should any of the entrants wish to avail themselves of such a person please contact me and I will ensure that a properly qualified Publicist is appointed to provide a first class service, and to help out with any surplus sandwiches.
No need to thank me - I will be pleased to help.
Bob.

Bob you appear to be offering your sevices. I am, however always cautious abut those who claim connections with and or experience of the medjia ( there has been a strange individual with a home made press bib and badge lurking around the morgan garages at one or two events recently). I fully intend to challenge his credentials the next time he appears.
Concerning the inappropriate use of badges etc --this calls to mind an exchange in the Goon Show.
Eccles: Yes. Winds light to variable. I'm practicing, you know.
Greenslade: Don't tell me you're applying for the post of announcer?
Eccles: Oh, yes! And I'll get it too, you'll see! I'm wearing a Cambridge tie!
Greenslade: You? You were at Cambridge?
Eccles: Yes!
Greenslade: What were you doing there?
Eccles: Buying a tie.

I know the chap you are referring to Peter, shifty eyed, brute. Signs of a life time of debauchery, and hard living, not the sort you would buy a second hand Morgan from. Should be run out of town on a rail. After tarring and feathering, of course.
