Do you have any ID numbers for this car? Chassis or engine (OG if you prefer not to make it too public).

Is it the featured in the new 4/4 book?

Hi Andy,

The chassis # is 1611, delivered by the factory to the Colmore Depot in Birmingham as a chassis/engine/drive train etc, but not the body.

This was done frequently by the Morgan factory in the case of DHC models due to the problems in getting steel after the war.

The engine number and gearbox number match but I do not know the numbers from the top of my head, will check tonight.

Colmore Depot finished the car (panelling) and delivered it to the first owner under regisration HAC 71. The car stayed in the UK until the late nineties when it was sold to Holland.

I am not sure if the car is featured in a new book, it has been featured in magazines over the years... what book would it be?

Will post the other numbers tonight.

Best wishes, Jochem
