Good news!: spectators welcome this year: http://www.vscc.co.uk/vsccweb/events/event.jsp?id=708
Not so good: Mrs L has vetoed the Merc so I am in the plus 8 (OK so it's not that bad news really...)
see y'all.

Excellent- at least two Morgans entered then. Let's hope it's dry!

Shame the ML63 has been scratched. It's an awesome machine.

Still smile at the memory of me and Tony side by side at the red traffic lights on the dual carriage way in Winsford after leaving Oulton Park.

I'm in the most powerful Transit you could buy at the time. Tony's in the AMG Merc. Both of us towing trailers.

The lights changed and the Lees rig disappeared like a rocket into the distance.

Last sight was Henry Lees waving goodbye with a huge smile on his face!

Best wishes,

Keith.

Except Tony had to stop at the next garage for fuel!

So Keith was actually first to the M6

You need more power Keith!!!
Tim H has a suggestion
300 mph in 4.5 seconds, dragsters must accelerate an average of over 4G's.

The ML63 is truly ridiculous and awesome and actually gets average 18mpg whilst towing which is 10 more than that useless range rover sport I had before.
well OK not 18 when leaving Keith for dead at Winsford but it was worth it to see the grin on Henry's face :) :)

Tony,
I am shocked that two people for whom I had such high regard should turn out to be nothing but a pair of hooligans, showing off on the public highway is truly reprehensible, childish, dangerous and silly .................. can I join in next time? Please!

Tiddly Pom.

Bob

You could join in "on your bike"

of course 30mph was never reached let alone exceeded so your bike would be top contender for the TLGP.

Yeah! I could always turn up, as a bike is pretty nifty at traffic lights, but no doubt that ace coureur Johhny Embers would turn up in his lycra and scoop the title!

How humiliating for an ex Edgware Road Club member!!!

I guess I'll just rest on past laurels (Ha, ha, he, he!).

By the way, are bikes eligible for the POM?

Bob.

PS; Andy; heed the advice of the that sage, Norman Tebbitt yourself
