Happy Birthday Tony Lees

I couldn't help but notice as I perused Brakehorsepower this evening, that a certain Tony Lees is celebrating his birthday today. What I didn't realise is actually how old he is. According to BHP, he should be receiving his 3rd telegramme from the queen - even Bob is a few years away from receiving one of those.....

Happy Birthday Tony - and many more of them

Cheers

Tim

(For those reading this after 6th March, Tonys age was reported as being 102)

I hadn't realised that he had constructed the Viper when the engine was new. ........

You are all far too kind.
I spent happy birthday under the black plus 8 removing the split oil cooler :-)
Just to show how old I really am - spot the skinny youth in the "tasteful" bomber jacket laughing too much at the back of this picture under the "H" of Duckhams with Bill Frazer-Campbell and Murray Montgomery-Smith on the right of me.

On the subject of birthdays there is someone most of us know who hits the half century mark this week but I wont embarrass him / her in public and just wish them an anonymous happy birthday =D> =D> =D>

Mike Hawthorn upon being asked for his autograph by a good friend of mine and seeing that Jaguar driver, Peter Walker, had already signed the book, wrote underneath Walker's signature 'Too old at forty.'

So nothing for you to worry about Tony.

Congratulations,
From all of us at BBC Three Counties Radio.

Bob.

Indeed Mr Sebba, it was my birthday, thank you so much for your kind thoughts.
However, I now feel I must change my anti-aging cream as it's clearly not working........
