For anyone at the Pomeroy on Saturday, you will be pleased to know that Kelvin survived his meeting with the wall without any harm to his person. The same can not be said of the Morgan, which suffered quite badly.
The accident, which brought out the Red Flag, happened on the Club Straight when he aquaplaned and hit the wall at speed causing considerable distress to the near side rear end and much misalignment of the chassis to boot.
Commiserations Kelvin.

Sorry to hear that, Kelvin. Glad that you're OK, but sad to hear that the car has suffered. Hope to see you out on track soon.

Thank you for your thoughts. Even without delving into the details of Laurence Pomeroy's complicated formula I was unable to prove this year that a Morgan Roadster is the ideal touring car. Mind you the way it aquaplaned means that it may make a good boat. Many thanks to Bob Bull, Graham Turner and friend and Helen and Chas for their help afterwards. See you sometime!
Regards
Kelvin

Hi Kelvin,
The track was sooo wet along the resurfaced club straight and bumpy too - the new surface is very poorly executed if you ask me.
Very glad to hear you are OK. Very sorry that I did not manage to see you after the event.
Hope to see you soon.
Cheers, Tony

Dear Kelvin,
I am so sorry to hear the news. Glad you're in one piece, and hope the car can be ready for April- were you just practicing at the Birkett?

Commiserations Kelvin - I did see you fettling your car at lunchtime, from the window of the palatial motorhome - but never got to say hello. The roads were awful in the Disco - so must have been horrendous on he track.
Hope you and the car bounce back soon.

Commiserations Kelvin, sounds like a re-run of your 6hr relay pirouette except this time your partner dropped you.
Hope to see you soon

Kelvin,
It's always sad to hear of a Morgan getting damaged but at least it sounds as though you are okay.
Hope to see you soon,
