Hi all,

We are now finishing the restoration of my my 1959 +4. Now wanting to install front and rear tow hook on the car.

The car has a front valence panel (similar to TOK, XRX and other competition cars).

What is the common way to mount these tow hooks?

Are they at the front attached to the cross frame lower tube?

Any ideas welcome!

Kind regards, Jochem

You can mount one to one of the chassis legs a bit more sturdy. This car now has a front valance and with a little tweak was fine. (Pre-restoration pic)

Thanks Andy,

This sure makes sense. Will use this example to create one!

Thanks again!
