Thanks for asking the question Jerry, I never had the nerve to raise the matter for fear of offending 'Il Maestro'.

It is always a very risky business professing any 'knowledge shortfall' on this forum as there are always half-a -dozen, right no all's who love to demonstrate their superiority over the less able.

Equally Confused Bob at 7.24pm Luton Standard Time.

Robin,
You are clearly the very soul of brevity, unfortunatley I lack the intellect to confidently apportion your message to the relevant posts.
I fail to comprehend the impression you are endeavouring to convey. Further elucidation may tend to expotentially increase the degree of confusion inherent in the situation, I therefore withdraw any previous comments to avoid being labelled a complete Gordon!!

Felicitations,

Robert.

A lady named Mary agreed to buy a Morgan of Jack for £20,000 and Jack agreed to deliver the car the next day, however, when Jack turned up he said the car had had an accident and was a write-off.
Ok Said Mary just give me my £20,000 back. I can't said Jack I've already spent it. Well let me have the write-off said Mary. What will you do with a write-off, he asked. I'll raffle it she replied.
You can't raffle a write-off. Said Jack, I can I just won't tell anyone it's a wreck. She said.

A couple of weeks later Jack saw Mary in the paddock at Snetterton and he asked her how the raffle had gone.

I sold 2000 tickets for £20 each and made a profit of £11,980 she told him. But didn't anyone complain he asked. She replied. Only the chap who won and I gave him his £20 back.

Mary is now sponsoring a Formula 1team.

This is a true story, and only the names have been changed to implicate the innocent.

Jack,
All I am trying to do is to spread a little good cheer in a forum that lacks humour.
We need to raise a smile more often, stimulate witty banter, tell a few jokes, give people a laugh. It's my mission in life.

I can't believe how negative you are, when all you need to do is turn on that cockney charm of yours and we would all be in stitches.

Come on post one of those stories that raises such a storm down at the Bull and Bush.

I dare you!

Ho, ho, ho!

The Irish admiral wanted to be buried at sea, and six men drowned digging his grave.
