Jack,
No wonder you have been reduced to racing Citroen 2CV's ....East Barnet? The posher end? Get real, I have lived in East Barnet and often went to the Essoldo cinema, where there is now just a supermarket, so I know of which I speak. In fact my wife comes from New Barnet, and says they would cross themselves before entering East Barnet. I have also lived in New Barnet, and that is a little bit more upmarket, but not a patch on Chipping Barnet.
Never mind, I do not have to tell my listeners precisely where you reside, I can refer to you as coming from Hertfordshire.
Be warned I also know a bit about 2CV racing.

Must have been John Britten, as I never owned one. His place was not far from Humphrey Littleton's pad.
jack bellinger wrote: by RB.. AD..RC..
OK! Jack;
RB - obviously Ross Brawn.
AD - Arthur Daley I presume.
RC - RC Darcy, local nere do well.
JB - Could be Jack Brabham, Jenson Button or Jack ...er ....whatsisname?

Barry,
Thank you for the award, you are so much nicer than that rough bloke from East Barnet. To be honest if you know Arkley it just had to John Britten.
Do you remember the 'Arkley' sports car? I have not seen or heard of one for decades, do any still exist?
Just to wander even further from F1 and even Morgans, I booked my accomodation for the Revival Meeting yesterday, and discovered the manager was also Secretary (?) of the Lambo Owners Club. If any one is looking for inexpensive, and basic overnight accomodation let me know, and I'll pass on details.
Regards,
Bob

A bit unfair to expect Bob to know such arcane Morgan history, Jack. But as any Morgan fule no (and most were there) they were:
Rick Bourne, Andy Downes, Richard Cresswell, Jack Bellringer...

Cresswell or Casswell ? But Casswell doesn’t live in Barnet.
Yes Bob I too went to Barnet Fair, and Barnet FC in the great days of the early 1960s. Athenian League. And flew my model airplane on the fields there. When I was 13 I bought ether and amyl nitrate from the local chemist (for the engine fuel ) and he sold it to me. But I did come form the posh end of town.
