Jack,
I know the feeling, I have no idea where we are, but is has been fun getting here. You know when I raised the subject of Morgan drivers' navigational skills, I did so with some large measure of trepidation, concerned that some might feel slighted and take offence.
I see now that my fears were groundless. To be honest it appears to me that not many have the whit to be upset by any form of insult, which makes me fear I have been a proper cad, by taking advantage of their good nature. Upon seeing the obvious attraction the 'Two Ronnies' must have had to many of our members, I can now see why they do not rise to the bait.
Despite the torturous nature of the journey through this thread, many folk seem to have stayed the course, while some, who shall be nameless, but Leigh Sebba for one, appear to have lost their ........ Oh! Wait! That reminds me of another TR moment;
" Our next sketch is about a man who gets lost in a ball bearing factory, Ronnie Corbett plays a man who loses his bearings and Ronnie Barker play a man who loses his ... will to live"

We did look like we were on a steady but diverging course when Tim threw us completely askew with his FUM.... contribution and I blame him for the confusion and subsequent descent in to anarchy, but how do we stop the plunge into chaos once momentum takes over?

TTFN

Hasta la vista.

Bob

If so, did you ever find that torque wrench?

Yes, Jack,
I found one of those, made the fatal mistake and married her.

But on another subject let me advise you of some of the signs of growing old;

When the bathroom scales go haywire and appear to double your weight.
When those trousers you bought just last year (What do you mean Dear, 1963 ?) have shrunk.
When the hall mirror stops reflecting all of your hair...
And when you find that your razor sharp brain takes two days to make the connection .........'Got any O's mate? 'You must be lost.'

Jack I love it! Just sorry it took so long before the penny dropped.

That must be some shop!!

Regards,

Ow'd Bob

BOB YOU MENTIONED SIGNS OF GROWING OLD

Getting Old

At a nursing home a group of OAPs were sitting around talking about all their ailments.

'My arms have got so weak I can hardly lift this cup of coffee,' said one.
'Yes, I know,' said another. 'My cataracts are so bad I can't even see my coffee.'
'I couldn't even mark an 'X' on election day, my hands are so crippled,' volunteered a third.
'What? Speak up! What? I can't hear you! said a fourth.
'I can't turn my head because of the arthritis in my neck,' said a fifth, to which several nodded weakly in agreement.
'My blood pressure pills make me so dizzy I can hardly walk!' exclaimed another.
'I forget where I am, and where I'm going,' said an elderly gent.
'I guess that's the price we pay for getting old,' winced an old man as he slowly shook his head. The others nodded in agreement.
'Well, count your blessings,' said one woman cheerfully, 'thankfully, we can all still drive.'
