It leaves my left hand instantly ready to change gear and also available to wave to spectators and other drivers!
Best wishes,
Keith.
I quite often race with one hand on the steering wheel and always that way in the wet.I am sure I have seen Mr Ahlers passing me sideways whilst waving with his spare hand

In that case, as at the Nurburgring 24 hours in a German car, my right hand is doing the waving and I have to remember to to put my left hand on the steering wheel.
This works most of the time until my phone rings.............................
Best wishes,
Keith.

Well! Despite intensive research and much trawling through my archives I am unable to uncover any visual evidence of this phenomenon, and in any case I have never seen more than two fingers waved at me!

Great day out on Saturday, beautiful weather, fine display of machinery, plenty of action, and good company.
Nice to see Tony, Tim and Kathy, all much too busy to chat of course, but Andy G, and John C. looked cool in purple?
No idea how anybody fared in the results, but Tim was Flying in the speedy bit, although Tony was mixed in with some hairy old motors.
Pictures are on the www.picasaweb.google.co.uk/rbmapics site at the moment, will add some to the Morgan one later.
Thanks for the coffee and Eccles cake chaps.
Bob.
PS: No sign of the digitised fracture artist.

Bob- I was in the BRDC stand from 12.00-4.00pm, plus circulating in the paddock. The tall man with an obvious blue sling and a 10 year old in tow. Tony lees can verify my story if you suspect i was burgling your house at the time!

I have already sold the Picasso.
The POM never fails to amuse - a great way to spend a sunny Saturday in Feb.
