And so the 2009 Panto drew to an abrupt close. For those that blinked and missed the ending....

'encore, encore' the cast heard but when they opened the curtains the crowds had gone, with qllm that remained a distant rumbling of Jacks Moss Box V8.....
(and Bob thought - last year now- that he had got the last word)

Yes you did Andy, we are very disappointed in you, especially after the support we gave your panto last Christmas. [-X

The standard of panto has become so masterly that I had considered myself too lowly in wit and repartee to make a meaningful contribution. Much enjoyed though so please don't be put off for next year. John and I sloped off for our own production of Treasure Island (Yo Ho Ho and a bottle of Rum and all that)! For those windsurfers amongst you Bonaire is a magic location!

Catherine, I am sure that even if you simply posted your shopping list it would far exceed the level of wit and repartee that we achieved in our efforts!
Please don't hesitate to join in, it will be good to have another female contributor to offset the rather dubious male postings!

Jack,
do you recall the song; 'Fools Rush In' ?
Talk about 'going in harm's way'
With greatest admiration,
Bob.

Gill and Jill went up the hill
to fetch a pail of water,
The bucket was too heavy.
They stopped for a bevvy,
They should have got a porter
