Nothing unique about standing around in the rain, Mary.
There is if you don't have to!

We are very grateful to race reporters, especially those like Simon, who not only take part in the race but make a valuable contribution to the series.

Yes it was great to watch (rather than tootle around at back in +4) and great race reports. Bob asked why Tony got ‘Driver of the Day’ and apart from the consolation for being beaten by a ‘kid’ he also entertained in his Cognac special. And he is the ‘go between’ between Morgans and Jen’s position as Committee member and more importantly caterer at VSCC. The only race meeting I recall going home with a number of French loaves.
I liked Simon’s comment about ‘the hardy racers who drive to the circuit’ without naming who they are. Could one be called Simon ?
I wont be there at Combe but make sure you all don your make up and look good for the TV cameras and I will try to watch it

Very interesting perspective on affairs, lots of action that one misses stuck in one spot, and peering through a camera lens, but at least we now know why Simon is not winning races! It must be awkward writing and driving at the same time.
I will have to see if I took his picture.
Sadly one of the Tripos Team, was overcome with ill health after I persuaded him to dine on the VSCC rather than the Paddock Dine, and had to leave before 'our race', so we missed coverage from the Complex, however, Chris at Becketts caught some of it. Such is the meeting that I took over 900 pictures and that means a lot of editing, so be patient and I will provide my best shortly.
Many thanks, as always, to the Morgan Crowd for making me welcome, I can only assume that they like to be insulted.
Peter Olley will be providing pictures at Castle Combe so if you see a slightly chubby chap fumbling with a photographers bib, and fiddling with a camera, say hello.
Bob

Hi All
Firstly, as per my brave example set last weekend, one should always endeavour to navigate the track in the direction of flow dicated by the majority and indeed in the direction faced at the starting line!
I would like to sincerely thank the 20 or so drivers that managed to avoid me during my experimentation with the opposite of the above and apologise for any brief heart attacks caused!
On a lighter note I have added photo's of last weekends efforts to
https://www.morganism.space. Due to camera shyness (?) Pater and I will not be attending Castle Combe so will catch ya'll at Donington.
Regards

Dominic my security advises me not to open your web site, as you may be trying to trick me and steal information from me!
What are you up to?
Are you the infamous 'Housie Hacker' currently being sought by the CIA,FBI,MI5, Interpol and the KGB (and MSCC)?
007 Bob.
Mmmm? Maybe there are certain photographs of a compromising character?

Simon that little tip solved the problem - unfortunately I can now see Dominic's photos.
Dominic, what a tragedy unable to see my excellent (Mary's words) photos, and such nice ones of your car.
007 & 1/8th.
PS; I suspect you have another Gilbert winner there.
