Hi Mary,
The castings are Rocker Covers for a Super Vee engine built by Broadspeed in 1973 specifically for a race at Daytona, the engines produced 165 bhp and were fastest in Practice but were deemed to be ‘outwith the spirit of the regulations’ and banned. The rocker covers were made in the USA not by Broadspeed, Ralph would never have gone to that expense.
Hope this helps
Richard.

Even more interesting!

Does your friend have any suggestions as to where these would find an appropriate home?

Hi Mary,
I would have to ask him, how did you acquire them?

Hi Richard,

John has sent you an email explaining all!

He sent it to your business email address as that is the only one I have for you. If there is a better one then please email me with it (you have my email address I think).

Best wishes,

Mary
