I wonder! If you sat an infinite number of Morgan drivers at an infinite number of word processors, would one of them eventually write a contribution to the 'Off Season Entertainment' thread?
Personally I don't give a monkey's.

The merry Knight Jerry did hie him forth upon a winter's day.
He came upon a Bellringer and unto him did say
"Why ring you thus the festive bells it's making such a din?"
Whereupon the Bellringer did smite him upon the chin.
Suddenly there came a wurring noise and into view there came
A red chariot driven by a man of enormous fame.
To be continued….

Sayeth, Famous Personage; "Alas alack! Why doeth ye serfs, not geteth offeth mine back?"
"I have not just fame but a plentitude of dosh, so I'll haveth my chariot shined at the Hand Cart Wash."
"Then spelendith to see, all glitter, and flash, you willeth see howeth canst I spendeth my cash.
And in forthcoming joust I'll win fair lady's glove, and steal her awae from the one she dost love."
"Thus Sir Fillip, his anger and rage all a flutter, willeth be letfeth aglae let only to mutter.
Revenge when taken must be sippeth like goode wine, and that rascal will suffer, ere long, as I taketh mine."
... and so the tale continueth ......................

"Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player, that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more; it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."
As winter closed in upon the land, the yeomen of Olde England sought solace in lowly taverns. Their gaily caparisoned steeds were stabled to await a new season of jousting in the lists, brightly coloured bodkins (sic) shining armour and, beplumed helmets were carefully washed and polished by the serfs and serving wenches ready for a return to battle re-joined when once more the sunny days bloomed forth again.
However, what a tale winter will tell once Maiden Spring emerges from hibernation.
One of most disgraceful, sleazy, bawdy, and disreputable of gatherings consisted of many of those whose life was bereft of joy and meaning once the joust was over. Such craven individuals, time hanging heavy on their idle hands terrorised a lowly haunt in rural Oxfordshire, where the Kings writ failed to run, due to being a far cry from the Sheriff of Nottingham's bailiwick.
Chief amongst the gang of scoundrels bringing shame on the fair name of Morgana-le-Fey, was a tall loutish character known only as Mark Hiscard, a man often given to flights of fancy, but with a ballooning reputation for carousing and rowdy behaviour .......
Author's Note; Any resemblance to real people is entirely deliberate.

What of the Knight's tale?
'Tis what you will sir…
We can but hope that now you are here
You will help us by spreading a little good cheer
The advent of one Lord John of Bevan
Might be seen by some as an offering from heaven
To ward off the boredom of just a few actors
In this tale of V8s, 4/4s and TR tractors
By the way our theme isn't Chaucer….
