AIA Algarve - Offer to BHP Members

Post by Phil Egginton »

Any members planning to visit the Algarve this year? Please let me know by PM.

I now have my own box at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve and can offer you (subject to availability) a free ticket or two to the events here.

Just to give you a taster we have:

Formula 1 Official Testing from 18-22 Jan, 26 Jan - 1 Feb and 16-19 March
World Superbikes Official Launch and Testing 23-25 Jan

During the year we have Le Mans Series, FIA GT, FIA GT3, Open GT, A1GP, GP2, WTCC and many other championships. If you bring your car there are also track days which I get a discount on too.

Hi John,

It's the same track - it's referred to as the Portimao track for local pride and politics!

I confirm Phils comments about it being a superb track. I was fortunate enough to be driven around it by Phil and the top banana! Fantastic!

Pleased to hear it's coming along well Phil, albeit slowly. Keep in touch.

Cheers

Mark
