Yes but the really interesting thing about this Series 1 Peter, is that it was fitted from new by the factory with the 1098cc Climax engine - same as the competition cars...

Both Series I Morgans sold at the Silverstone Classic sale last weekend.
They were both immaculate cars and the green car sold for £27,000.
The blue Series 1 with the 1098 cc Coventry Climax engine sold (as I suspected it might) for more money.
It was a shade under £31,000. Both prices including Silverstone Auctions commission and VAT.
