If anyone is interested I have uploaded the video from the camera that I strapped on Tim Harrison's 4/4. It's quite interesting in that everyone in the race except Chas is on the video.

Chas’s engine is post 1980 so that would count as the datum not the chassis
but any other way to get the classic plus 4s racing and the other cars to make a fuller grid would be fine
Great pictures Bob. I particularly like the one of Jeff Stows car and Simon Gurneys car. They are both ex John McDonald and I would think it is the first time they have been photographed together for a long time.
Simons car PGP (Or Choc Ices as it is known ) was Chris Lawrences first customer car and raced with Chris in the early years.
It is very sad to hear of his demise - although not totally unexpected as he has been quite ill of late.Truly the passing of an era - and a legend in the Morgan world.
Do we know anything about funeral or memorial yet?
The 60th anniversay Plus 4 day at Prescott Sept 25th sounds like a good opportunity to celebrate the guy who put the Plus 4 on the Map!

A really big thank you to Brian and Tracy and the team for putting on yet another wonderful TT last Saturday it's become a must do event in the Morgan calander with the entry growing every year. A great race wonderful food what more could we ask for we are all throughly spoil.
Roll on next year and let's see if we can get 30 four cylinder Morgans out.
Once again my thanks
Richard.
A thread on Chris Lawrence can be found on the 'Autosport' magazine's 'Nostalgia Forum', and contains tributes, and memories of Chris. It might be worth a look over the next week or so.
