Classic Meeting

Post by Bob Bull »

I have posted a few pictures from last weekend's Silverstone Meeting on the usual site, which I hope you may enjoy, they are as always free to download if you wish.

Well done to all of the Mog drivers who upheld Morgan Honour amongst some very exotic machinery. The 'King of Norfolk' won, as usual while Ollie Phillips raced well in the Yellow Peril and Tony, Jonathon and Mark made sure Mogs were well represented throughout the field.

The Kremers managed to hold of a spirited challenge from Bill and John E in the GT race, with Johhny Embers Team Manager bemoaning the lack of ".. just one more lap ....". Also out were Mike Bell, and Rob and Paul.

It was great to see the SLR's out again.

Next up is the Bentley Drivers and the world famous TT race, so I look forward to seeing you ALL there.

Congratulations to young James Gateson for his preparation of the ' Magnificent Emberson's' car, and total dedication to the task over the weekend.

Interviews with Ollie P and John E may be heard this Friday evening on BBC Three Counties Radio. For those unfortunate enough not domiciled in the 'heavenly counties', the station can be found on the internet.

I am pleased to see that the pics. have had a fair number of viewers, I hope they are worth the visit, I thought I might point out that for the best result it is better to use the 'full screen' option on the top left of page or the 'slide show' facility. I find these flatter the pictures, and enhance the viewing experience, especially for the more discerning amongst us.
I would also say that if anyone would like me to remove any unflattering or obtrusive images of themselves, please let me know by PM. I would hate to upset anybody.
