Re: IS THIS THE END OF BRAKEHORSEPOWER ? – Comments Please

Yes Barry, I find it very surprising that there have been so few comments, especially as I put a comprehensive post on the Challenge Facebook page.

Even the BHP stalwarts seem to have gone silent.

Come on folks - use it or lose it! ](*,)

Re: IS THIS THE END OF BRAKEHORSEPOWER ? – Comments Please

A few comments The new website doesn’t have a chat page ? Under forums it only refers to a private what’s app for drivers, and to this BHP I look at ten tenths historic racing today, but that has fallen off, particularly since the sad death of Mike Bell. The MSCC has its chat site. And there is Talk...

Re: IS THIS THE END OF BRAKEHORSEPOWER ? – Comments Please

Philip, BHP does not compete with the new website but it adds an alternative way of communicating with fellow Morgan racers on topics of mutual interest. I created and ran the previous version the Morgan Challenge website for many years until it was re-designed and handed over to Chris. The new webs...

Re: IS THIS THE END OF BRAKEHORSEPOWER ? – Comments Please

We are immensely grateful to Chris Acklam who set up and hosted BHP as well as the first and original Morgan Challenge website "Mogsport" https://mogsport.net/ , that is still up on Chris's own server. You can see for yourselves how much work and effort was involved in this. Chris also cre...

Re: Hoping to come back racing! Where to find tyres?

Hi George, welcome back! I suggest you have a look at the Challenge website preparers page https://morganchallenge.co.uk/competitiors/ and talk to one of the people listed, it looks like Williams or Richard Thorne are your closest preparers. I am sure they could advise you. Otherwise contact Chris T...

Great news - Bob has just telephoned me to say that his daughter has just called from Papworth Hospital to say that Judy has had her operation and it went well. She is now in recovery. He asked me to pass this on and to say thank y...

2025 Challenge calendar

It is the 40th anniversary of the Morgan Challenge in 2025 and I have been tasked with putting together a calendar for 2025 including all Morgan Challenge winners since the beginning in 1985. I need images of the car on track and a mugshot of each of the winners and any help will be much appreciated...
