Re: Morgan Books - Post your suggestions here
It's the number on the book, together with "ISBN 1-900732-05-X", but this does not lead to finding the book with Google or Amazon (looks like the publisher got it wrong, or failed to register the correct number). Googling > "world sports car journal" volume 1 < brings up one copy...

Re: 1939 "Le Mans" CSF266
I had saved an image of HPH750 from the December 2014 issue of Classic and Sportscar which I do not have the right to attach, taken in 1948 in a racing circuit paddock. It is carrying a single spare wheel in the rear panel (with a gap for the other wheel), and has a disc wheel on the front (rather t...

Re: A Morgan Down Under
I was surprised to see two Easiclean wheels (four stud) at Beaulieu (one marked up 'as for Morgan?'), but both had 4.5" PCD when measured. The six stud Easicleans frequently on eBay are for Morris 8 S2 cars, if not others. I had a discussion with a S1 owner about the reality of swapping the out...

Re: Parts Wanted for Series 1
Hi there, Have found a reference in the ~1960s ‘Answers supplied by MMC’ page of the early yellow workshop manual that makes reference to a ‘conversion set’ to use Hoffmann LS11 (Skefco RLS9) bearings in the alloy front hubs of cars before ~#0596, which allows use of the ‘fully tapered’ stub axle to...

Re: Morgan +4 Super Sports and +4+
Hi there, Along with the photo was a slip of paper with "Dickie Shepherd-Barron's Morgan +4" Based upon this, I looked into results online, RS-B was entered in the 18th August 1962 Goodwood Tourist Trophy in the 'Morgan Motors' team, running car number 31, DNF. The trackside tower in the d...

Hi All,
Just bought this photo off eBay, do not have 'The Lawrence Tune Years' (too modern for me) to see if this car was photographed much during it's career in this form.
Regards
Bill

Re: Parts Wanted for Series 1
On behalf of the restoration of #900, does anyone have access to a pre-war DHC to let me know what the fasteners which secure the hood rail on pre-war DHCs look like. It is extremely unlikely that any are available, but photographs or measurements which will enable some to be made would be very help...
