Re: +4 Super Sport, high line body
Hi Mark, Good to hear from you and trust all is well. I have a number of photos of high line SS cars, mainly from the Centenary event, but none are quite close enough to clearly identify the scoop fitting. As you say, and from the images I have, I am inclined to agree, riveting was the standard meth...

+4 Super Sport, high line body
Perhaps a slightly obscure question, but here goes :- With reference to the high line SS, was there a recognised standard fixing for the carburettor bonnet scoop. For example was it welded to the main bonnet along its top edge or was it fixed by bolts or rivets. I am just interested to know as I hav...

Re: +4 wanted
Good morning Kevin, Just noticed your posting here about a 1961 Morgan +4, which from the text I gather you have inspected and driven. My interest has also always been in the 50’s and 60’s TR engined +4’s and have owned a 1967 +4 for 50 years. These are my initial observations although I have to say...

Mark,
The auction ended 25 November, highest bid was $43,000, reserve not met. The Morgan market continues to be subdued !!

Re: 1965 +4 CFX866C
Hello Kevin, I was interested to read your wanted advert for CFX 866C. I am not the owner. I may be mistaken but you may be the gentleman who has shown interest in +4 Super Sports cars advertised/auctioned recently in the USA. I also closely follow these auctions. I am aware this +4 is a high line b...

Re: Plus 4 Drophead Coupe
Some more info !!
Another offering : a 1954 Morgan +4 Coupe for sale in the Matthewsons online auction, which is currently running and closes 27 September.
For the record I have no personal interest in the car nor the auction house.

Re: Morgan +4 flat rad 'supersports'
Hello Machiel, Morgan diversity always throws up interesting issues and discussion, and the postings on 'Morgan +4 flat rad supersports' is no exception. Just following up on the points made in your posting, I have looked at the data included in Ken Hill's 'Completely Morgan' and according to factor...

Re: Bentley Drivers. Silverstone
Does anyone know what the format is for spectators at the BDC meeting. So far as I can make out, the Silverstone website is advertising tickets for Luffield only.....does that mean spectators are restricted to that stand ? Have been going to the BDC meeting for over 40 years and it was always great ...

Re: Historic +4 Race Car For Sale
RE : TXH 941, I saw it auctioned at H and H in Buxton in July 2019. Sold for circa £23.5k, which may have included buyer's premium and vat. Built in November 1957 and started life in February 1958 in California, was raced late 50's and through 60's. Laid up 1971 - 84, raced periodically thereafter b...
Re: B D C
I have been going to the Bentley Drivers Club meeting as a spectator since the early 1970's and only missed 2 or 3 meetings. When I looked this morning on the Silverstone website it advertised the BDC meeting for 22 August but stated that no spectators were allowed....same applies to Club members......
