Re: IS THIS THE END OF BRAKEHORSEPOWER ? – Comments Please

Hi all, I agree it is a great shame that interest in brakehorsepower has wained over the last couple of years. I guess there are other platforms (WhatsApp, Facebook etc) that people now use but I for one still regularly view brakehorsepower. It does seem as if many people like me still do view it - ...

Re: Bob

Just got back from a short holiday and seen your post Bob.

Sorry to hear you have been unwell but you imply that with the change to the correct tablets you may be able to be out at a few more meetings next year...and that is good news!

Take care and look after yourself!

Cheers,

Mark

Racetorations Fast Road TR4 engine internals for sale

I have had the Racetorations fast road engine in my TR4 engined Plus 4 rebuilt to full race specification. It seems such a shame to discard all the engine internals when I believe they have done less than 400 miles! The engine was built by Racetorations in 1988 as a fast road engine with approx. 120...

Re: Morgan Books - Post your suggestions here

Have just got the new Morgan book by the MMC archivist Martyn Webb and it is excellent - even though i am still going through the three wheeler story and haven't got to the four wheeled Morgans yet. Other than to look at some of the pictures! And what fantastic photos. Most of which haven't been see...

Thanks for the 'heads up' Kevin. And Happy New Year!

The price now in dollars is what I am led to believe was the price paid in pounds sterling when sold post auction by Silverstone Auctions...

Re: Plus 4 competition parts for sale

Hi Mike,

Sorry, it went yesterday - as did the exhaust manifold.

But do have the harness bar from the 1959 Plus 4 if of any interest...

Hi Robin,

Keep me in the loop with your spares - I haven't forgotten about those engine blocks but had lost storage space.

However I am now in the process of moving in to new shortly so will be back in touch...

Re: +4 Super Sport, high line body

Hi Eddie, All good thank you and trust the same goes for you too...?! Your brother's drophead was lovely and beautifully restored. I don't know whether the published price is the hammer price or whether commission has to be added to it? Either way it was a wonderful buy for someone - sadly not me as...

Re: +4 Super Sport, high line body

Hi Eddie, Simon King is the best qualified to answer this as he has an original high line racing Super Sports. You are absolutely right in that the bonnet scoop in a high line Super Sports is completely different to a low line Super Sports. It was rivetted along the top edge where it meets the bonne...
