That reminds me of my first ever session on track back in 1984 with my old Healey Sprite. It was a silverstone test session and I was next to the brand spanking new Aston Martin Le Mans car on it's first test session.

Re: Class 1 - Panhard Rod and Anti-Tramp Q?

Hi Andy (or should I say Cerealsufer  ) I think anti tramps would be a total waste of time on a 4/4. Worth it on an 8 but you don't have the torque on a 4/4 to warrant them. I don't know any of the other Class1 runners who bother with a panhard rod either. I am told there are things you can do...

Amazing.....

And coincidentaly the other day I came across the results of an Eight Clubs race meeting at Silverstone in 1984. I kept it because it was my one and only race win (in my Frogeye). There are some fammilar names on it too.

MSCC Aero Centre

I put forward a proposal to the national committee of the Morgan Sports Car Club for the formation of a non geographical centre based around the Aero 8 (and in due time Aeromax). I am pleased to say that the proposal was unanimously accepted. The Aero centre will be open (as all centres) to any full...

I did not think the award was for the speed championship only. I thought it was any Morgan at Shelsley whether to speed champ regs or not?? Mike does compete in a modified sports car class at Shelsey.

Mike Hall would know what happens at Shelsley as well. I think he did the fastest time this year in a Morgan (31seconds??).

Fully agree Chris.... most exciting to watch..... These endurance races definelty make good racing. Keith had a 'bit of a weekend' too in the Aero. Well done to Billy and Jack for a record engine change time but then bad luck with the restart. I love the restyled car without headlights (see http://w...
